Valerie has done the oxidation / UV light blood infusion (see pic below).
She also did the chemo.
Then during the Perftec IV, her heart started racing, she got sweaty and started eating whatever was in the room (ALL unusual behavior for her... I'm usually sweaty and eating everything, but not her).
They stopped her IV and got the doctor. She feels better and wants to try again so they will try again in about 30 minutes.
The doctor still has not received her images from Hoag (our hospital), so I left them a message and am hopeful they will arrive sometime today.
The pain will be less for the rest of the day because they give her an anti-inflammatory and a pain med before doing the Perftec and since they stopped it, she'll get another dose of that before they start again. Two or three days ago when she did the Perftec (with just one dose each of the anti-inflammatory and pain med) she hopped up off of the bed unlike she has in 2-3 months. This time, I might have to keep her from doing cartwheels down the hallway.
I'll post again this evening.....
**This is Tomas, who does her ozone/UV light treatments. He always has good music playing ... today I stayed in there with Valerie for the first time. Mariah and Celine made me cry.
